Monica E. Russell, CEM, as the director of meetings and member services, Monica oversees all meetings and exhibits, sponsorship, associate membership and AASHTO's outreach program called TRAC & Rides. Monica manages and works closely with members, contractors, vendors, internal and external clients including the Office of Inspector General and the Department of Transportation Secretary's Office to complete meeting logistics.
Monica has been with AASHTO for since 2006. Prior to AASHTO, she was an independent consultant in the association market for 5 years. Monica has been involved in corporate meetings, events and exhibits since 1992 and has managed events for British Telecom, MCI and Cable & Wireless. She received her degree from Delaware State University in Marketing.
Jenn Dorsey joined AASHTO as the Meetings & Member Services Specialist. She is experienced in association membership and sponsorship outreach. Jenn’s responsibilities will include coordinating associate member engagement with committees; producing a quarterly Associate Member Newsletter; maintaining updates to AMIMS; working with sponsorship managers in streamlining internal communications; and coordinating with the publications team on marketing promotions.
Prior to joining AASHTO, Jenn worked with the International Association of Fire Chiefs and prior to that worked for the International Association of Chiefs of Police. She holds a B.S. degree in Social Science from the University of Maryland University College, College Park, Maryland.
Meghan R. Wozniak, with more than 10 years of experience in the field of meeting planning, Meghan is responsible for management and planning of logistics for various AASHTO meetings. Prior to joining AASHTO, Meghan planned events for many different audiences and industries, including hospitality, technology, conservation/green initiatives, building and construction, charities, non-profit and political fundraising. Meghan has extensive conference and meeting management experience which includes planning, organization, management, and implementation of meetings, conventions and trade shows.
Kamasha Hendrickson, CMP, CGMP entered the meeting field by what she likes to call a ‘happy accident’ in 2003, when she was asked to plan a meeting for 30 individuals in Buffalo, New York. Since then, Kamasha has been overseeing and managing the logistics for conferences with 5-7 concurrent sessions and off-site optional events, workshops, VIP special events and high school and family reunions. Her professional background includes work in the hospitality industry with the Hyatt Regency Reston and Staybridge Suites Chantilly, and the association industry with Grantmakers for Effective Organizations, where she organized professional meetings for more than 750 members, and the Association for Enterprise Opportunity, where she planned VIP events and raised funds for the organization.
Ernie Cochran, with a wealth of experience, is AASHTO's Sponsorship program manager, exisiting partners. Ernie has been working in the association industry for 15 years. His experience includes: meeting planning, golf tournament coordination and management, and marketing, along with sponsorship solicitation. As an AASHTO consultant, he has played a key role in developing the sponsorship program and managing the solicitation of sponsorships for AASHTO meetings and programs for the last several years.
